Hey thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I am a qualified Teacher. Currently working in a school in Darlaston teaching Reception. I have just finished tutoring a family I worked with for a few years as the child has now gone onto Secondary school and I am looking for my next family. I am very devoted to ensure your child receives the best possible support. As I work in Early Years I do believe that practical resources are required to help a child to understand their learning. I can cater for all ages up to 11 in the primary curriculum.
I have been a qualified teacher since 2017.
I gained my BA (hons) in Early Childhood Studies and Education in 2006 and have been supporting children around the West Midlands in a variety of different settings and areas including SEND, EYFS and Behaviour.
I can teach the primary curriculum from ages 3-11. Including Kinetic Letters, Phonics, Handwriting, English, Maths, Science, RE, PSHE.
My approach to Teaching and learning is about motivating and inspiring children. I like to use different authors of children's books to plan an activity and firmly believe in using a child's interest to help them complete their studies. I am able to bring along practical resources, schemes of work, mock exams and books. I am also very interested in tutoring online. Please feel free to ask me about any particular questions or topics.
