I have a masters degree in Maths. I am a qualified teacher currently teaching in an outstanding school. I have 20 years teaching experience. I had been a marker with EDEXCEL marking the maths papers for the last 6 years. This has given me an insight on how students can maximise their marks by avoiding some silly mistakes.
I am totally familiar with the new GCSEs specifications and can teach the right skills needed to get a good grade.

Tutoring Experience

I have a total 20 years teaching experience of teaching in secondary schools. Also I have been tutoring for the last 7 years.
Some of my students have achieved top marks in their exams and have got admissions into selective schools.
I have a good pass rate for 11+ exams.

Tutoring Approach

I make a general assesment of the student in the first few lessons and then set targets for the students. The lessons are broken down to mental and written methods both. I explain to the students the exam techniques and marking stratiges to enable them to score more. For GCSE and A level students exam practice is done nearer to exam. For primary students the approach is more friendly and playway methods are used to help them understand and learn better.
