Reuben

My name is Reuben and I am currently at university in my first year sudying pharmacy. I have always enjoyed Biology and chemsitry and also languages as I love to travel. I achieved As in all 3 of my A-levels (Biology, Chemistry and French) and have had some tutoring experience in the past during sixth form, whilst also recently starting tutoring on another website where I have already ahd a few lessons.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored before within my time in sixth form, helping GCSE French and Biology students. My degree is very chemsitry and biology focused so my knowledge on these subjects is very solid. My degree is also very focused on building communication skills as a lot of a job as a pharmacist is educating patietns and explaining things in different ways for different patients.

Tutoring Approach

Before I begin tutoring any students, it would be beneficial to be provided with the following information so I can plan my lessons: Current working grade, grade student wants to achieve, what the student most struggles with and also how the student best learns. It is important for me to know how the studnet best learns as I can not say that there is one singular approach I can use for all students. Some students prefer diagrams, some prefer listening or reading. The one general approach I will have however is enforcing exam technique which is so important for GCSE and A-levels
