I am a well achieving student currently attending the University of Bristol taking a masters in Chemistry with a Year Abroad. I am an enthusiatic tutor with a strong academic background - I achieved an A* in A-Level Maths and an A in Chemistry, along with ten Grade 9s and two Grade 8s at GCSE. I understand pressure that comes with exams, having taken them myself so recently and have a real passion for helping others succeed.
Since September 2022, I’ve worked as a Teaching Assistant at Removed Learning in Kingston, where I’ve planned and delivered personalised lessons in Maths, English, and Science for students from 11+ to GCSE level. I regularly assess progress through informal testing and adapt my teaching to target areas that need improvement. I also provide one-to-one support after lessons to reinforce understanding and build strong problem-solving skills. I enjoy creating engaging resources to help students grasp key concepts and feel confident in their learning.
My teaching style is fully student-led. I always encourage students to tell me which topics they’re struggling with so we can focus on exactly what they need. I think learning works best when students are comfortable asking questions. Every lesson is tailored to the student making it easy to develop effective problem-solving skills.
