Tutored up to now on just a word of mouth basis, but realise there is a real need in Moray for one on one tutoring. Currently working as a teacher in Moray. I have also worked as an instructor in the military teaching both practical and theory in an engineering environment. Can apply my teaching to real world problems, having worked in a number of different environments (Home and Abroad)-Oil and Gas, Offshore Survey, Aviation, Accountancy and Software.
I get great job satisfaction in helping students achieve.
I have worked in the private and state sectors teaching Maths and Physics at all levels in both subjects. I have experience of working in most of the secondary schools in Moray, also taught Maths at Gordonstoun. So familiar with the Edexcel curriculum, but realise most need is in the Scottish sector.
Currently working with pupils who have Additional Support Needs, this has given me added experience and techniques in working with young people.
I have a very flexible approach to tutoring, be it helping with homework, working through past paper questions, no student is the same.
I have recently (May 2020) started online tutoring and is something I am keen to do more of. First online lesson is free-currently using Bramble, it requires no additional software and works across all platforms
