I am an Italian native speaker with a First Class Master’s Degree in Languages and Literatures (English and French). I have lived in the UK for 16 years.
I offer professional & bespoke tuition classes.
Ideal for adults wanting to learn Italian / French or school students (including GCSE’s and A levels).

I graduated from the Universita' degli Studi di Bergamo (Italy), in 2005 with a First Class in Languages and Literatures (English and French). Following my graduation, I started a two year Master's Degree (First Class) in the same subject. I studied at the University of Reading (UK) for the first year, and the Universita' degli Studi di Bergamo (Italy) during the second year.
I then took a Master's Degree (First Class) in International Business and Consulting at the University of Reading (UK).
I have been teaching Italian and French to English speakers (including children) for the past 4 years.
I can adapt the level and amount of grammar to the abilities and requirements of my students. I strive to make my classes rich, interesting and fun.

Tutoring Experience

While I was studying at university in Italy, I gave English tutoring lessons to Italian primary and secondary school students. I then moved to the UK in 2004 and have been teaching Italian and French here for the past 9 years.

Tutoring Approach

Both my BA in Foreign Languages and Literatures and my Master’s degree in International Communication (English and French) have given me a solid knowledge or grammar, syntax, orthography and phonetics as well as teaching techniques. Having studied Italian and Latin grammar and syntax at high school too, I can confidently say my understanding of the grammatical foundations of Italian, French and English is strong.

I provide all material, such as conversations, grammar rules and exercises, reading comprehensions, translations and homework.
I tailor my approach to suit my students's requirements, e.g including more or less grammar, useful phrases, lessons on culture and even games for the youngest or less young.

I usually send students some homework to do in between classes.
I charge £25 per hour for private lessons and £8 per hour for a group class.
