Since completing my PGCE in Secondary MFL Education in 2020, I have been a class teacher at an over-subscribed community school in North West London. I teach French to key stages 3-5 and Spanish to key stage 3.
I have an enhanced DBS certificate, of which I can provide proof upon request.

My teaching experience means I have thorough knowledge of the national curriculum and exam strategies which enable young people to succeed academically.

Tutoring Approach

Students learn and retain knowledge best when the learning is enjoyable. By using manipulatives, interesting authentic sources and a variety of activities I aim to make sessions enjoyable, whilst also covering the necessary learning. To begin, I would assess the child to highlight any gaps in knowledge and base sessions around these. By completing activities in a relaxed environment, children will not only gain curriculum knowledge and be challenged sufficiently, but their personal confidence will increase throughout the sessions.
