Tutoring Experience

While I have an engineering degree that strengthens my math background, what I love most is simply explaining math in a way that makes sense to others.

Tutoring for the past 3 years has shown me how differently each student approaches math, and I find real joy in adapting my methods to suit each individual. From building foundational skills to mastering advanced concepts like algebra and calculus, I make it my mission to help students not only understand the material but feel good about tackling it on their own.

Watching a student go from frustrated to confidently solving problems on their own is the most rewarding part of what I do — it’s the reason I love being a tutor.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is all about patience, persistence, and making sure my students feel comfortable every step of the way. I know math can be tough, so I create a relaxed space where questions are always welcome, and there’s no rush. We’ll go over concepts as many times as it takes, and I’ll try different ways of explaining things until it clicks.

Instead of focusing on memorizing formulas, I aim to help students really understand how everything fits together. I use real-life examples and simple explanations to make math feel less like a chore and more like something that’s actually interesting.
