I am a qualified KS3/KS4 maths teacher who is passionate about education and likes to see young people fulfilling their potential and enjoying their learning.
I am a former secondary school maths teacher who has moved on to teaching in a variety of settings. I have taught in Adult Education and taught maths resit students in Further Education. I have been a maths tutor for over 10 years working for local authorities as well as private work. For the last two years I have been working in my local secondary school teaching small groups of Year 11 students in preparation for their maths GCSE. I have also been working for Edexcel marking Maths GCSE papers since 2017.
I am professional, calm, patient and friendly and take pride in being flexible in both topics and teaching style. The joy of tutoring is that the teaching can be tailored to the individual students’ needs. From a huge variety of resources we can use those that are most effective at strengthening understanding and building confidence.
