I am a qualified Law Lecturer and currently teach A Level Law at College. I can also teach Psychology A Level or GCSE. I have a 2:1 LLB with hons Law Degree from the University of Salford, which I completed in 2013. I gained my PGCE from the University of Huddersfield in 2015 and have an excellent experience in teaching and am fully DBS checked.
I have excellent references, both personal and from past students which can be provided on request.
I am currently in my 10th year of teaching. I have tutored students from the ages of 16 - 18 and I immensely enjoy teaching, both in small groups and 1:1 sessions to help students improve. My experience is wide as I have covered teaching OCR, AQA and BTEC applied law. I have been tutoring both exams board (OCR and AQA) for students privately in order to secure them the highest grade possible. I have consistently achieved ALPS grades 1 and 2 for the past 4 years at the college I was previously at as a sole teacher of law.
I have been teaching OCR law for the past 8 years and teach Human Rights on paper 3.
I have a wide range of resources available to help support and stretch students. I also have 5 years experience in marking for OCR during summer examinations.
My approach to teaching is based on each individual. All sessions I do are based on what will help that student exceed on the course.
I chunk all content for students in order for them to be able to access the information and will give resources in order for them to access and complete.
