A French native with a degree in Foreign Languages (English and Spanish applied to business), I have always been passionate about languages, which drove me to move to the UK 13 years ago. I also speak Spanish and have a very good knowledge of German grammar.
I am very patient and resourceful and will not be satisfied until my students have understood the key points of the lesson.
According to Charlemagne, to know another language is to have a second soul. I know for a fact that it is true and would like as many people as possible to experience it.
For the last 15 years I have been teaching French, individually and in small groups, as a part time free lance tutor. In France, I worked for Acadomia and Abos, providing students with private tutoring at home. In January 2019, I started my own business as a language tutor, supporting adults to grow their knowledge of the French language and gain confidence practising it.
We all learn in different ways and finding the right approach is key to learning successfully. After assessing my students' needs, expectations and personal interests, I prepare individual lessons accordingly. I like to show them that they usually know much more than they believe they do.
As long as my students commit to do their share of learning and studying, I will always ensure that they have really understood the key points of the lesson by rephrasing as many times as necessary and shed as much light as needed.
