Sabrina is an excellent teacher and has been teaching my daughter through her GCSE. My daughter improved significantly and the grades are a reflection of the effort. She managed to get a 9 in her GCSE, which is testament to the efforts put in by both Sabrina and my daughter. Will recommend her to anyone.

Sabrina was recommended to me so I contacted her regarding tutoring my son for GCSE English. Sabrina was fully booked but as my son was only a few months away from his exams she moved some things around to accommodate us so before we even met I was extremely impressed. My son had always struggled with English and actually disliked it. When we started with Sabrina he was just scraping a grade 4 so wanted to try and help him feel a bit more confident in English. On our first meeting, Sabrina was so friendly and immediately made my son and I feel at ease. I noticed the difference in just a few weeks. My son became more confident in his approach to English and for the first time actually starting enjoying the subject. In the short time he had with Sabrina, he progressed so much that in his mock creative writing paper achieved a staggering grade 8! This is all down to Sabrina and the way she connected with my son and explained things in a way that no other teacher had before. He enjoys English so much now that he is contemplating taking it for A Level. If you are looking for someone who will care, nurture and above all help your child excel in English, look no further. We actually miss seeing her every week!

Our daughter, Alice, has had English tuitions with Sabrina since year 7. Now in year 11, her marks are grade 8 thanks to Sabrina’s teaching. We are very grateful that Sabrina’s great advice, knowledge and dedication will allow Alice to sit her English GCSE in a month time with more confidence and excellent predicted grades despite her dyslexia. In addition, Alice has always enjoyed Sabrina’s tuitions over the last 5 years. We feel very lucky to have found such a great English teacher and our 12 year old son is also going to start to be taught by Sabrina. Thank you very much Sabrina for your help.

In all honesty it is difficult to do Sabrina justice with a mere review but I will do my best.

Sabrina tutored our son for GCSE English **Telephone Number Removed** glish has always been our sons’ worst subject; he never did like it nor ever did well in exams so, he was really dreading GCSE English. Moreover, year 10 was not good for him and his school didn’t do live classes during the first lockdown so he went into year 11 behind in both language and literature to the extent that we feared he would fail either one. Thankfully, after trying a couple of teachers, we found Sabrina in September just as the year was starting. Half way through the academic year, our son jumped from grade 5 to 8 in language and from 4- to 8 in literature and he is doing even better now! His expected grades are 9 in both! His English has been transformed and his writing style now impresses us!

Sabrina went above and beyond to help our son. Her knowledge and expertise are exceptional. She is committed, punctual, professional and a great communicator. She was also very forbearing and kind when we were late or had to do last minute changes. She never cut from lesson time when we were late and we were really late sometimes! Flexible too, always trying to accommodate our requests and changes of lesson time.

Every lesson, she makes sure she understands what our son wants to work on beforehand and she dedicates serious efforts and time to plan for the lesson so not one minute is wasted. She gives homework each week to insure the student practices between lessons.

She also helped him enormously with his personal statement for A-levels applications and the final draft was brilliant!

It’s important to mention that the online lessons were just as good and engaging as the face-to-face ones, which is a great skill during these times (Covid times).

I hope I did Sabrina some justice here. Thank you, Sabrina, for your amazing support and for your generosity. You will definitely be missed but we hope to see you again in the near future when our daughter starts her GCSEs.

Sabrina was fantastic at helping getting a 7 in both GCSE English subject - when was predicted a 4 at the beginning of the process - thank you !

Sabrina tutored my year 11 daughter in English to try and get her grades up. Sabrina is so lovely, my daughter really related to her and enjoyed being tutored by her (which isn’t easy to find when you’re a 15 year old girl!!). Sabrina set appropriate work for my daughter to do at home, and always gave constructive and positive feedback at her sessions. Sabrina was also very flexible with timings and did her very best to accommodate us. Unfortunately, we only had a few months with Sabrina due to corona, but my daughter got her grades yesterday and was awarded what she hoped for. Sabrina tutored my son for both English language and literature during his GCSE year. My son had always struggled with English, he wasn't good in essay writing and overall not confident with the subject. He was predicted 5 in both parts but he wanted a higher level; we therefore started tutoring with Sabrina, who quickly analysed my son's weak points and started working with him to get him to a higher level. Sabrina is so friendly, approachable, and accommodating to the needs of her students. She gives plenty of homework, which challenges and stimulates learning, and help students understand and analyse difficult text. With Sabrina's help, my son grew in confidence and his essay writing improved dramatically. He scored 7 (lit) & 8 (lang) in his final exams, an impressive increase from the 5 he was predicted. Sabrina is very friendly, experienced, professional and an excellent teacher. During the period of tuition she responded promptly to my son's request and needs. Sabrina is a very pleasant and knowledgeable tutor who has accurately assessed my daughter's specific needs. Her tutoring has increased my daughter's depth of understanding and skill level in preparation for her English GCSE exams.
