Sally has been amazingly supportive, encouraging, patient and dedicated to teaching the children in making sure they understand and learn all areas of their schooling needs. We are fortunate to have her.

Sally has been brilliant at boosting my 15 year olds confidence in Maths. In the space of 4 months his GCSE grade has gone from a grade 2 to a 5! She offers a very professional service, explains things in a clear way and is very approachable. I would highly recommend her.

Sally is an excellent Tutor. She has given my 15 year old daughter a new lease of life with her studies for GCSE Maths. Sally is highly organised and has a genuine interest in her students. My daughter was on target for a 4/5 and now with Sally's help is aiming to achieve a 7/8. She thoroughly enjoys her sessions with Sally and is enjoying Maths too - as it is now making sense!

Sally has been absolutely fantastic tutoring my daughter. She has really built up her confidence and self belief and this has manifested itself in amazing improvements in her Maths tests. Despite being in the 4th set in Maths she just received the best Maths score in the year at the Grammar School!

Sally has tutored my Son in both GCSE Science and more recently Maths. During those sessions Sally has been both professional and reliable. The approach used by Sally to teach is one of calm and confidence and has helped build my Sons’ confidence, and her advice has been very helpful. Although we have only been having sessions for approx 8 Weeks Sally has quickly identified areas of weakness in the subject and been quick to put together a package of study aids and helpful websites that he can access to supplement his independ learning alongside her tutoring . Sally is tutoring my son Luca in Chemistry and Biology at GCSE level. He was really struggling with these subjects and in need of help. He has found Sally’s teaching very helpful indeed - feedback from him has been enthusiastic! His sessions with Sally have really renewed his confidence and given him a much needed renewed positive approach. 100% recommendation from us!

Sally began A' Level P.E lessons with our son at a late stage in the Curriculum. He was majorly out of his depth in the subject and she took the situation in hand with great confidence and sense of purpose. She quickly picked up on John's style of learning and adapted the lessons to him. John's relief at being able to understand what he'd found impossible was tangible. No results as yet but Sally undoubtedly turned a miserable learning experience into a positive one.

We are extremely pleased with the progress Rachael has made. She was struggling with her confidence. Sally's approach has identified the areas where she was feeling insecure and has helped her to structure her approach to maths so that she knows feels confident to tackle problems she would have struggled with before. We would recommend Sally to anyone looking for a maths tutor.

Sally has already helped immeasurably . She responded very quickly to my initial request for a tutor and has given sound sensible advice from day one. She has replied promptly to emails and phone calls and is very approachable and instills confidence.

Sally has been a huge help bridging our son’s knowledge gaps in key stage 3 Chemistry, Biology and Maths. He has recently moved between schools and found that the curriculum was not covered in as much detail at his previous school compared to his new school.

Sally quickly ascertained his requirements and through tailored lesson planning, has helped him to regain his confidence in each subject. Structured, enthusiastic sessions with hands on learning has been of great benefit. We would have no hesitation in recommending Sally as a top quality tutor!

We have only had a few lessons and wish we had had more as seems very thorough

Before tuition with Sally our daughter was really struggling with even some of the basic concepts of Maths. Sally has proven to be an excellent choice for our daughter and she has rapidly progressed in a very short space of time. Sally's teaching methods are superb and very easy to understand and have not only given our daughter the basic building blocks but also much more insight into the more difficult aspects she was lacking.

I can not recommend Sally highly enough as a tutor. Our daughter had completely lost confidence in her subject due to very poor teaching, she was coming out with a possible C/D grade having done badly in her A1. Sally tutored her from September to April. Her approach to the topic was structured and clear. She was able to quickly assess Annie's potential and ascertain the areas that required attention. Her depth of knowledge is outstanding and her enthusiasm and patience ensured that my daughter was able to make up the lost ground and move forward. Thanks to Sally my daughter was one mark off an A* as her final A level result - as a recommendation this last point probably says it all!

Sally, since your visits to Darcy we have noticed a vast improvement in both her ability and confidence with Maths. It is truly astonishing the progress she has made in a relatively short space of time, and as Darcy has pointed out, you always make lesson fun. Superb! Imogen says she has so much more confidence in class as her understanding of the subject(s) has improved. Sally really made my 8 yr old daughter Amelia feel at ease right from the start and she always looked forward to her lessons, Amelias confidence has grown and she is doing a lot better at school. We will continue if possible with lessons from Sally , if we can find the time to fit them in .

Sally worked with my Granddaughter Year 10 who had lost all confidence and felt she was hopeless.
Sally always presented as positive when she worked with her taking the attitude ' we shall be doing this and you will be able to do and understand it' - which she did. Each session she experienced success and began to believe she knew more than she thought
After a few sessions my Granddaughter looked forward to her lessons and felt much more confident in what she was doing. I would recommend Sally as a teacher.

Sally's explanations were very clear and easy to follow. Just what I needed for my up and coming IGCSE. The time spent with Sally was productive and I know I learnt alot. Sally is an excellent teacher and I recommend her highly.

Only two visits and already our two children have made progress. Both have/had an avowed fear and loathing of maths. In two lessons Sally has persuaded them that they can 'do' maths and that really there is nothing to be afraid of. Exactly how maths should be taught.
