I am a teaching professional with specialisms in Oxbridge university applications, and A Level and GCSE English Literature: I combine an approachable and warm teaching style with intense academic rigour (I came in the top ten in my year at the University of Cambridge, so I bring academic excellence to my teaching).

Tutoring Experience

I lectured and taught in UK universities for some years, before teaching in a Further Education college, a sixth form college, and an independent secondary school. I have thus covered a full range of ages, from undergraduates, to A Level students, to GCSE (including adult learners, in the FE college), to KS3.

Tutoring Approach

I use questioning as much as possible, to emphasise the importance of a student-led educational experience: a teacher can deliver extensive academic content, but whether or not it is accessible to the student is a question of whether or not s/he is engaged in the learning process.
