Sam is a very professional teacher who quickly improves the reading and writing skills and engagement with the English language and literature. My child always enjoyed her lessons and approach. I warmly recommend Sam to everyone who needs efficient and quick improvement of English skills.

Sam has been helping our daughter prepare for her A level exam in English Language, since September. Sarah's confidence is growing with every lesson attended. Sam is teaching her new concepts, as well as further explaining and putting in context terms she hadn't fully grasped. We were very alarmed when my son got a 4 on his mock GCSE English exam, because he was doing well in his other subjects and extremely well in the subjects he enjoys. The problem was that he hated English and intensely disliked his English teacher. He agreed to get tutoring to help with English and he went to Sam for an hour a week from November to May. He really enjoyed the sessions, which was a pleasant surprise, given his loathing of the subject; I never had to twist his arm to go. I could see his confidence in his ability to handle the exam questions increasing from week to week. In the end he got a 6 in English Literature and a 7 in English Language, so we are delighted with the outcome. Sam is an excellent tutor and I recommend her highly.

Our son really enjoyed the tutoring sessions he had with Sam.
The sessions also allowed him to greatly improve his written English skills enabling him to pass his GCSE English at the first attempt. This is on top of or son having been diagnosed with a learning disability which meant this was a very tall order.

Amazing tutor! I was looking for a tutor for my 8yr old son during the summer holidays to help with comprehension, writing and a bit of creative writing. Sam had prepared materials for every lesson which was a suitable level of difficulty for my child. And best of all my son enjoyed the lessons and would ask me when he would have the next lesson with Sam, and that says a lot about how good she is with kids as my child is not very keen on English at school.

Sam is so positive and encouraging that I look forward to going to the lessons. She helps me a great deal correcting my English pronunciation, understanding my poor grammar and planning what she teaches for every lesson.

Sam is an excellent tutor and has been a real help to our 17 year old with her English A level work. She’s smart, flexible and super lovely - a real find - and we will continue to use her excellent skills as and when we need to.

Sam is a fantastic teacher. She's always very punctual,nice and friendly .Sam has got a lot of teaching materials and exercises which help me understand grammar and speak English better.

Sam has been very helpful, good at providing notes and talking them through; specifically on Lord of the flies. My son is happy with her contribution, nature and style. She is well qualified for tutoring in the subject, however, to get from A to A* is aided by syllabus expectation and mark scheme knowledge. This is the perceived gap, which if real and addressed, "could" enhance the the finer points to ensure an A*.

She's very good in teaching,and her way of teaching is really very brilliant, as she's kind,polite and helpful,so therefore one can better understand and gain easily. Actually, i was taking lessons for IELTS from her but unfortunately i couldn't continue and not preparing nowadays, so can't say how I prepared me for IELTS? but the lessons i had taken were really useful and helpful and i think, if i would continue i might pass the exam with good score or as i expected 7 or 7.5 band. Anyhow, for those who will keep preparing, depending on the students that how much time they need to prepare themselves, can get success. And of course, for success, it depends on the student ability, she will just enhance you to the success.So if you work hard and get help from her, no doubt you'll get success.And yes, don't forget be punctual of time 'cause she very punctual of time. ( N.B, she doesn't teach those, who isn't punctual of time)
