For the last ten years I have taught both History and Religious Studies at all stages of the secondary curriculum. I am currently based at a grammar school in Kent and have first hand experience of the new GCSE and A Level courses. I am currently head of Year 11 and have been a head of year for 5 years. I have attended a number of seminars with the examining bodies which focus on the best ways to deliver the new content and what they are looking for.

Tutoring Experience

I have 10 years teaching experience based in secondary education. History is my primary focus and I have also led my own department in this time. Alongside my main subject I have taught Religious Studies for the last six years to students from 11-18. I have a great deal of experience with the AQA exam board.

Tutoring Approach

I can focus heavily in whichever area is required and can provide written feedback as and when needed. I am extremely enthusiastic about my subjects and like to help students build the skills needed to write in greater complexity.
