I am an experienced KS2 teacher working in Y6 for over 7 years and have extensive knowledge of Y6 SATs. I have also supported numerous children in preparation for private school entrance examinations. I teach in a large, urban primary school and have been a school leader for the past 4 years.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is to first assess where the gaps in a child's learning are. Then work with the child and family to design an education plan which will have the greatest impact in the given time. I believe that it is important to equip the child with strategies to keep learning beyond the tutoring time so I work with families to find the best ways of doing this.
