Unforetunately the tutor is a little far away, and although he is an experienced teacher, the tutor and prospective student felt they would not be able to work with one another.

I offer a 5/5 service and have a proven track record of raising achievement.
I have fantastic ALPs for my college and have sent students to prestigious universities to study Maths and Physics. I am very up to date with the latest pedagogical ideas for my subject.

Farhan was arrogant and difficult when I visited and admitted he left mainstream schooling because he is lazy and doesn’t get on. His view is that the tutor should “do everything”. I left after 40 minutes of him refusing to engage, not charging for the session or the £4.50 parking charge.
I have spoken to other maths teachers in the area who have had similar dealings with Farhan and they have found him equally frustrating. It’s a shame to now have a 3/5 rating for trying to help someone.

Sam was patient, his knowledge of mathematics was excellent and he was willing to be flexible with the times / days he came to tutor.

This person cancelled the first lesson and did not turn up for the second lesson.
We received a poor apology three days later by e mail, with no explanation as to why he had not turned up. He did not respond to messages left on his mobile phone.
He is unprofessional and completely unreliable. He should be removed immediately from your list.
Please urgently refund our money.

Apologies again for last Friday. From previous feedback you can see that is not my way of working. I didn’t want to go in to the personal details of why I was called away but I do understand your frustration.
All in all it was a very unfortunate set of circumstances and I’m sorry I wasn’t able to help.

Sam is reliable and an excellent tutor having a brilliant knowledge of his subject and how to adapt this to his students viewpoint, Roberts confidence and aptitude in Maths grows stronger after every session. He also looks forward to his tutorials with Sam. Sam also updates us with Robert's progress after every lesson and responds to queries instantly. We cannot praise Sam enough and we recommend him to all prospective mathematics tutees as a very reliable professional tutor.

My son has only had 3 sessions with Sam, already he has implemented a way to help with organisation. He is punctual and patient. Even though it's early days I feel he will be a great help for my son.
