Hi, I'm Sammy, I have been teaching for ten years in several of London's top outstanding secondary schools and now work in an Independent Prep School as Head of Maths. I have achieved the highest results in the department year on year. Now, in my tenth year of teaching, I am a Head of Mathematics. I absolutely love tutoring in my spare time - all of my students have been very successful, gaining the grade they wished for or higher.
When I'm not tutoring I do lots of sports, including running, swimming and cycling. This makes up for my love of eating out!
I have a Civil Engineering degree (2:1) from the University of Nottingham and completed my PGCE in Mathematics at the University of Bristol.

Tutoring Experience

I was an accredited lead practitioner of Maths for four years and Head of KS4 Maths, so I have plenty of examination preparation experience. I now work in a Prep School where I am Head of Maths, ensuring children have the skills to get into the senior school of their choice and nurturing their love of Maths.
I have plenty of experience in tutoring and teaching from age 10 to 18.

Tutoring Approach

I have lots of experience working with all levels and ages. I listen to the children's needs, build confidence and the grades always come.
