I´m a German native speaker, living in South Oxfordshire and passionate about language. I love playing with words and using them precisely and poetically.
I teach people of all ages with all sorts of aims: young children to improve at school; teenagers to learn German in a way that is useful at school, but also when they travel; and of course to adults who wish to practice their skills in written or conversational German.
I am interested in literature, music, science and politics. Also, my 11-year-old son keeps me up-to-date with the latest football news!
I work as a coach with 10+ years experience in teaching people to deal with anxiety, stress or pain. With this background, I am a supportive and patient German tutor. I can help you get through any exam anxieties, to trust yourself to speak German and thrive in your new language - in an easy and joyful way.
I hold a Diploma in Sociology and also studied Psychology and the Science of Education.
I am a German Language Assistant and teach German since May 2018. I also work as a personal coach for dealing with anxieties for more than 10 years.
A language needs to live and breathe. I support you in getting the grammar and spelling right. No lesson will be without practising your communicative skills either! The best way to learn is to listen, understand and then do-it-yourself: speak. I adapt my lessons to the individual interests and needs of my students.
