I'm a dedicated and experienced tutor with over six years of teaching expertise in Mathematics and Economics. I hold a degree in Economics and Statistics from University College London (UCL) and have a deep passion for helping students unlock their academic potential.

Whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, or simply looking to build confidence in the subject, I'm here to support you every step of the way. I've worked with students of all abilities, and I pride myself on creating a supportive, engaging, and personalised learning environment - both in person and online.

Tutoring Experience

I've taught extensively across all major UK exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and WJEC, so I’m very familiar with the expectations and assessment styles of each. My work with MyTutor's National School Programme has allowed me to deliver both one-on-one and small group sessions (groups of up to 4 students), helping learners from a wide range of backgrounds and learning styles. I consistently adapt my materials and methods to suit individual student needs, ensuring that every session is purposeful and tailored. From core concepts to exam technique, I’ve helped many students gain clarity, confidence, and improved grades.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is patient, flexible, and highly structured. I believe that no two students learn the same, so I tailor every lesson based on the individual’s goals, pace, and preferred learning style. I use a topic tracker to monitor progress and identify areas to revisit, and I regularly assign homework to reinforce learning between sessions. As exams approach, I shift the focus to exam paper walkthroughs, past paper practice, and technique coaching—so students don’t just know the content, they know how to maximise their marks. Having been through the exam system myself, I understand the importance of building confidence as well as knowledge, and I always aim to bring clarity, encouragement, and structure to each session.
