Hello! I'm Sarah, and I am a qualified teacher & private tutor.
I currently work as a primary school teacher (KS2), and I have almost 10 years experience teaching from primary level up to A Level. I specialise in music and performing arts, as well as English (Literature and Language) and the humanities.

Tutoring Approach

Each session is tailored specifically towards the individual tutees needs. I tutor from my home, and will either design a sequence of lessons to fit tutees long term needs or work on a more flexible week on week basis to support current school lessons.
I am patient and creative in my teaching approach, and I adapt lessons to the learning styles for each learner. We all learn best in different ways and I strive to find the perfect way for each pupil!
I understand that some anxieties can come with learning, especially coming up to exam time in English/Maths. I work with tutees to overcome anxieties and worries, and work with pupils to have a positive growth mindset, and develop self belief in their own abilties.
