Hi, my name is Sarah. I live in Caerphilly town centre with my two children and adorable little dog called Beau. I love working with young children and have recently set up my own tutoring business 'Blossoming Brilliance'.

Tutoring Experience

I am a Primary school teacher with 20 years of experience. I specialise in Foundation phase learning and offer 1:1 home tuition to primary children supporting their phonics, reading and maths in a safe and nurturing environment. I have significance experience working with children with additional needs and always plan individual sessions to meet the needs of all children.

Tutoring Approach

Young children can only learn when they feel nurtured and safe. I ensured that I build a good relationship so children are confident and ready to learn (and not be afraid/worried about making mistakes).
I always ensure that my sessions are hands-on, engaging and interactive using various resources.
