I am an enthusiastic and committed teacher with a real love of my subjects. After a varied career teaching in some of the country's top schools, I now work from home, tutoring a wide range of students, mainly online but also in person. I gained my first degree and teaching qualification from Oxford University. Later on I studied for an extra MA in Theology via distance learning, so I have experience of learning from home as well.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 25 years' experience teaching History, English, Religious Studies and Politics across the 11-18 age range. I have prepared students for all of the major exam boards and I currently mark for Edexcel. I am fully qualified, with enhanced DBS.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is kind, encouraging and caring. I aim to push students to be the best that they can be by providing a safe environment in which they can ask questions, make mistakes and take risks. I am known for going the extra mile to help and to answer any queries my students may have.
