I am a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE in secondary Science with a specialism in Biology. My first degree was in Human Biosciences. I am qualified to teach pupils from an age range of 11 - 19 including A-level biology. I am a fun and enthusiastic person and find it easy to build a rapport and good working relationship very quickly.

Tutoring Experience

I qualified to teach in 2012 and teach A-level Biology and GCSE Biology. I have also taught GCSE Chemistry and Physics. I have an excellent working knowledge of the WJEC exam board through experience of teaching and marking exams.

Tutoring Approach

I think it is very important to understand what examiners want from a pupil and understanding the mark scheme to an exam is just as important as knowing the content. My approach to tutoring will be to cover the content needed through tailor made resources and apply that knowledge to exam papers. We will then go through your paper together and I can explain good points and how to pick up maximum marks. I also take into account that each person learns differently and will help you find your learning style and use this to help you achieve your full potential.
