Tutoring Experience

I have over 10 years of teaching experience, before I undertook my teaching qualification I was a Detachment commander of a local Army Cadet centre teaching many military themed lessons to 12 to 18 year olds, at the sane time as being a learning mentor at a local high school.

Tutoring Approach

Learning must be fun and engaging with an easy to understand success criteria. I achieve the best results by ensuring pupils get hands on learning using open source software. Computer science can be a difficult subject to grasp in the classroom, from my experience teaching Computer science, one to one tuition really does bring about true understanding of the subject.
