I am a very experienced saxophone, clarinet and piano tutor and I currently live in Woodford in North East London. I am happy to make home visits and have a current DBS. I teach ABRSM Grades 1-8 (both classical and jazz) but also cater for those not wishing to take exams and who wish to explore areas of music they might prefer such as improvisation, soundtracks and pop/rock. I am also extemely patient and like to inspire my students to listen to and be involved with music.

with over 20 years’ experience teaching children from primary, secondary and sixth form and has taught both children and adults privately. He has vast experience teaching beginners to more advanced, and his students often achieve high level passes in ABRSM/Trinity grade exams 1-8. He also prepares students for GCSE syllabus pieces (both solo and ensemble) and teaches theory up to Grade 5.

I also work as a freelance music journalist/author so has a huge knowledge, insight and passion about music that I love to pass on to my students.
