I am a fun, energetic person who cares about other people and their success. I am not afraid to be personal and love getting to know people from all over the world. The natural world, and the people within it are a passion of mine that I want to explore in order to improve myself. My time studying biology at university inspired my love for animals, but my time travelling the world inspired my love for other cultures.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for three years now in various capacities having taught all the age groups from year 7 up to adult learners. I've gained experience in face-to-face and online lessons (online being the more appropriate method currently). Having come across a variety of different learners with different preferences, I have learnt how to make my lessons adaptable and center the approach around you. Let's work together to conquer your specific challenges with a targeted approach to your learning.

Tutoring Approach

I want to understand how you learn, how you absorb information, who you are and then use a method of teaching that will make our lessons fun and engaging. I believe that language is truly wonderful, but can be complex if you don't know where to start or how to progress. I will help you to make sense of all the grammar starting from the basic to the more advanced. I will add to your vocabulary with practiced repetition of useful, real world words. I provide you with extra tips on how to use phrasal verbs and local expressions to make your English a lot more natural. We also work on pronunciation and intonation because I know that it can be the most difficult thing just to say words correctly even if you know the English structure. Whatever it is that you are struggling with, I can make it easier for you.
