Hello! My name is Sharon. I live with my husband in the Staffordshire Moorlands. My family and friends mean the world to me and I love spending time making memories with them. I enjoy travelling and visiting beautiful places in the UK and abroad. I love all things to do with the seaside; blue is my favourite colour, dolphins are my favourite animal and the crash of waves is my favourite sound.
I am a qualified teacher with over 30 years’ experience of working in mainstream and specialist schools. My roles have included Class Teacher, SENCo, Deputy Headteacher & Head of School. I am passionate about education and believe all children deserve quality teaching & learning opportunities.
My approach to teaching and learning very much depends on the individual child. I adapt my approach and resources to make learning accessible and appropriate for their needs. I utilise specialist teaching methods and multi- sensory approaches to enable children to interact with learning activities in meaningful ways.
