I am a native English speaker with over 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience in the UK and abroad. I have 7 years senior leadership experience. I also have experience delivering highly intensive educational, academic, corporate training alongside functional skills training. Although my degree is a primary education specialism degree: I have lots of adult teaching, tutoring and coaching experience too.

I have taught in different parts of the UK such as London, Oxford, Slough, Luton. I have also taught in Qatar and the UAE.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is very dynamic, fun, interactive and engaging. I am passionate about learners to become self motivated and empowered to want to learn. Therefore, part of my role is to instil a 'love' for learning and embed skills that will enable learners to know how to learn best suited to their personal learning style. I do not just teach rote methods, but focus heavily on ensuring the concepts in learning are absolutely clear, to the extent that they are mastered. Results are very important to me, hence I have to continuously monitor learner progress to ensure I am tracking progress and adjusting my teaching, as and when required. Learners and I always develop a special learning repertoire that develops into a 'dynamic' teaching and learning relationship.
