I have been a secondary school maths teacher for over 20 years both in person and online. My pure M.Sc. mathematical qualifications help secondary mainstream students grasp difficult math concepts. My way of teaching is by helping students feel confident in their mathematical learning. In addition, due to me being a teacher and understanding the AQA, OCR, and Edexcel Exam Boards it allows me to adapt my lessons according to the need of the student. I find that practicing exam techniques invariably helps to rapidly improve grades.

I also have a deep understanding about the GL assessment. This helps me to prepare my students for the 11+ exam. The skills needed for the examination in English, Maths, Verbal and Non -Verbal Reasoning are covered in my programme which allows me to make the children feel confident with the 11+ papers. One of my techniques are by setting weekly homework tasks, helping them with their weaknesses and setting progressive tests which allow me to see if they are improving.
