Tutoring Experience

AQA expert advice can be given. As a full time teacher for over 20 years and I have been Head of Psychology in two schools teaching 6th form as a specialist. I am currently teaching at a very successful independent school in Newcastle. I’ve been an exam board marker for over 15years and have experience in all three exam papers and can give expert advice in AQA external examinations.

Tutoring Approach

I am a friendly, positive and motivating teacher who can adapt to the different needs of students. I have experience teaching all topic areas across the two year A' Level course. Support can be given with planning and writing extended essays and demonstrate live marking of exam papers to improve exam technique. Experience with different levels of ability from Oxbridge and Russell group students to SEND students who need adapted responses.
