Dr Shereen is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate and multiple publications in the field. She also holds a first-class Master’s degree in Social Cognitive Neuroscience and Statistics from University College London (UCL).
Dr Shereen has over 16 years of experience tutoring Maths, English, Science, Psychology and Statistics, alongside preparing students for 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations. She has worked extensively with students of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs. Her training and experience background allows her to combine an educational approach with a deep understanding of the cognitive, emotional and developmental factors that influence learning.
In addition to tutoring, she diagnoses ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder and can offer formal diagnostic assessments. Her dual expertise in clinical psychology and education means she can adapt lessons to each learner’s individual needs, helping them to build confidence as well as academic skills.

Dr Shereen has taught children from the age 4 through to adulthood, supporting learners across a wide range of abilities and needs. She works with a calm, encouraging, and adaptable approach, taking time to understand each student’s individual learning style so that lessons are both effective and engaging.
Dr Shereen's background includes extensive work with students who have special educational needs, and she is fully trained to recognise learning differences such as autism, ADHD and dyslexia. She believes in building confidence alongside academic skills, and she adapts her methods to suit the learner — whether that means breaking down complex ideas into clear steps, using visual and practical examples, or developing structured routines to support focus and retention.
In addition to teaching, she offers consultations to identify learning challenges and provide tailored recommendations for study skills and strategies.
Consultation fees are available on request.
Dr Shereen prides herself on building strong, trusting relationships with both my students and their parents, creating a supportive foundation for progress. Her approach is centred on helping students learn to truly understand the material, rather than simply spotting patterns or memorising answers. This deeper comprehension not only strengthens their academic skills but also builds their confidence and self-esteem. She tailors her methods to each learner, encouraging curiosity and resilience so they can develop a genuine connection with their studies. By working closely with families and understanding each child’s unique needs, she helps them approach even the most challenging topics with clarity and enthusiasm.
