I am a passionate, degree-qualified Arabic teacher with over two years experience teaching the Arabic language.

I have a First-Class BA in Arabic from the SOAS, University of London. My four-year degree including a year-abroad in Nablus, Palestine during which I studied Arabic grammar at the national university there.

I was born in Birmingham to Pakistani and English parents and grew up in a home-educating household.

I love to travel and have always been fascinated by the culture and history of the Middle East.

Tutoring Experience

After graduating, I worked in a number of schools and taught Arabic privately to both children and adults. During this time I developed my own syllabus and helped a great many students to boost their Arabic level.

I have also tutored iGCSE Arabic to students at Burton icademy for Learning & Development.

Tutoring Approach

I teach Arabic language from beginner's level to advanced. My lessons are perfect for those are looking to fit Arabic into a busy schedule.

If you're a beginner, I'll focus on building a strong foundation in areas of pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar as well as key conversational skills.

If you've studied Arabic before, I'll support you in filling in any gaps in your learning through special review sessions. In addition, we'll read a broad range of texts and perform speaking exercises so as to improve your overall fluency.

I am happy to teach small groups as well as individuals. My lessons normally take place at my home teaching space in Moseley. I am also prepared to travel to you for an additional fee.

Teaching Methodology:

I am a firm believer in quality of quantity. My lesson have a lasting impact because I ensure that every new step my student takes is properly understood.

I also believe that learning Arabic should be the highlight of your week - a rich, enjoyable and rewarding experience. I make use of creative techniques to make my lessons memorable.

I am a patient teacher who is always prepared to go the extra mile for my students. Above all, I aim to inspire a fascination and love for the Arabic language as well as giving my students the necessary tools for independent study.

Online Tuition

My online tuition is great for both beginners and those who already have some Arabic under their belt.

With over two years experience teaching Arabic, I have developed a tried and tested online learning experience. For my lessons, I use zoom technology and a headset. My students benefit from interactive keynote presentation which use a colour-coding system. This makes learning new grammar a smooth, thorough and enjoyable process.

I have recently incorporated a special a dynamic speaking and listening area into my lessons which helps students to build key conversational skills.

Students are provided with additional PDF resources including vocabulary lists and recap sheets with grammar breakdowns.
