I am a fully qualified Primary School teacher who is able to teach a range of different subjects. I am enthusiastic about the education of children and enjoy creating fun and engaging ways to help individuals learn.

I am fully DBS certified.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a fully qualified teacher for 12 years. During this time I have had opportunities to teach in every year of primary school. Although I have taught mainly in upper key stage 2, I am fully phonics trained.

I have worked with children with different SEND over the years and have been trained in areas that can support various needs.

I have been tutoring for the 11+ for the last 6 year with most children being accepted into the Grammar school of their choice. I started tutoring while completing my Masters in Education which has helped me to develop different ways of teaching.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that children learn best when they enjoy what they do and have a positive relationship with their teachers. Therefore, I try to tailor activities to help each individual reach their potential while enjoying the learning process.
