I'm a 44 year old primary school teacher with 15 years teaching experience. I am patient, fun and enjoy inspiring children. I am married with five children, so can relate well to children! I enjoy IT and have a small filming business. In my spare time, I enjoy walking with my family, mountain biking and trail running.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in a few different primary schools and taught different age ranges from nursery to year 6. I have tutored my own children at various times, and have tutored privately.

Tutoring Approach

I try to make the pupil as relaxed as possible to aid learning. I also aim to make the session fun, as children learn without even realising it. I have bags of patience and explain concepts clearly in simple steps.Initially, I will give the pupil some work to find out the areas that need reinforcing, and then concentrate on those areas.
