HENRIETTA BARNET (HBS) Prep
A specialized preparation program targeting the requirements of the Henrietta Barnett School entrance exam, covering both the first and second rounds.
For the first round, we focus on comprehension skills, question analysis, and methods for approaching challenging comprehension passages. ( MCQ and standard)
Towards second round we build upon how to handle complex questions and deliver insightful responses and develop all aspects of Creative and imaginative Writing.
This program includes strategies for handling time pressures, making inferences, and articulating well-reasoned answers.
QUEEN ELIZABETH’S SCHOOL (QE Boys)
A focused program designed for students aiming for entry into Queen Elizabeth’s School, with an emphasis on developing the advanced analytical and comprehension skills required. This program also includes targeted practice on answering challenging comprehension and VOCABULARY questions, helping students refine their techniques and build confidence for the QE assessment format.
With a balanced approach to comprehension, creative writing, verbal analysis, and vocabulary, this program ensures students are well-prepared for the varied question types and formats they will encounter. By building strong language skills and analytical capabilities, students gain the flexibility and confidence needed for any entrance exam scenario.
I am an experienced tutor (M.A English Literature; M.Ed) with more than 30 years teaching experience.
