My name is Sophie and I am an experienced French and Spanish teacher and mum of an energetic and beautiful 2.5 year old!
I live in the East Sussex countryside with my husband and daughter and enjoy spending my free time swimming, going to the beach, going on adventures in our camper van and travelling around Europe.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching French and Spanish since I did my PGCE in 2016/17 and have been the Subject Leader for Languages since 2021.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to teaching is very student lead; I will set weekly vocabulary lists for the student to learn which will then be used in practising the four skills the following lesson. It is my priority for the student to feel comfortable and confident in their lessons so we can work together towards the student's goals.
