Stepan has been an excellent tutor our 16 year old son in preparation for his GCSEs. Stepan engaged AC and built a great relationship, and really got him motivated to try hard in the sessions and revision on his own. Stepan was polite, friendly, easy to work with and a joy to have supporting AC over this academic year! AC has looked forward to his sessions which was a miracle!!Thank you Krista! It has been a pleasure to work with AC.

I choose Stepan to tutor my son to help with his A-level geography. I saw that he had a good rating score. Unfortunately, my son didn't find him that friendly, and therefore after a few sessions, we decided not to continue using him.Dear Mairi,
I have had emails from you and comments from your son that the tuition was very helpful and that he enjoyed the lessons. In my seven years of tutoring, I have never had a bad relationship with a student and this was no exception. I wish him the best of luck with his exams.
Your attitude to the tuition changed dramatically when you refused to pay 50% for a session that was cancelled halfway into the lesson. It would have been in line with my cancellation policy (with which you were familiar) to charge you for the entire lesson. However I had been generous in charging you only for the time I had taught that day.
Tutoring is built on mutual respect and understanding. One cannot expect tutors to teach and give up their time free of charge.
