I am a qualified teacher and Specialist Dyslexia Teacher with 9 years of teaching experience and I run The Learning Club from my home in Horley, Surrey.

The Learning Club aims to nurture a love of learning through offering the highest quality private Maths and English tuition for primary school pupils. The small tuition classes and 1:1 lessons take place in a room specifically set up for tuition within my home in Horley, providing a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. I also offer online lessons via Zoom.

I am an enthusiastic, patient and engaging primary school teacher with 9 years of teaching experience within the Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I am a Specialist Dyslexia and have also supported children with taking their 11+ and entrance exams.

Tutoring Approach

The Learning Club strives to nurture a love of learning and therefore all lessons are taught in a fun and motivating way that children enjoy and look forward to attending. Additionally, tuition is specifically tailored to each child’s learning needs and every class is planned to support each child.

I offer small group sessions for pupils aged between 4-11 years old which are 45 minutes long. Classes focus on both Maths and English and aim to provide extra support and confidence building for EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children. I also offer 1:1 tuition and have both daytime and evening availability.

Classes cost £15 per lesson and 1:1 tuition is £35 per hour. The initial class/ 30 minute 1:1 lesson is FREE as trial session.
