I love maths, sport, reading and music. I'm a father of two and live in Yorkshire. I like spending my spare time in the mountains when I get a chance with two young children. I have one child at Secondary school and one at Primary school.
I taught maths in a secondary school for 12 years before switching to Primary school teaching. I have now taught for 5 years in Primary. I believe this gives me a really good background and helps give me a really good overview of education as a a whole.
I believe teaching is a lot about forming positive relationships and giving really clear concise instructions. I believe the best teaching is bespoke to the specific child's strengths and weaknesses and believe 1-1 tutoring is incredibly effective because of this.
