Stuart has been instrumental at helping to get my sons GCSEs Maths to a grade 7 despite predicted 6. He is now working with my younger son for Spanish & Maths.

We approached Stuart for Spanish lessons for our son very close to the GCSC exams as we wanted to provide more confidence post the mock exams. In the limited time, Stuart managed to help instill the challenging aspects of speaking and listening capabilities. There was much to do in the short space of time, but Stuart was very acommodating in offering additional classes, where possible. Each and every class was handled professionally (started timely, well prepped, high value for £). We take comfort that the GCSE results were above average and better than we were expecting. Kudos to Stuart and highly recommended.

He tailored tuition around my daughter’s timetable and lesson plans. He is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable. His approach, attitude and dedication are exemplary.

I m very lucky to find Stuart as teacher for my son, however it was a short period to improve because his gcse has started but tutor tried his best to give him all guidelines and knowledge … he is very punctual and disciplined tutor , I m very satisfied and hopefully his determination and my sons hardwork will work .thanks .

Stuart is great. He’s been working with my 14 year old son for several months now and he’s really helped to build his confidence in Spanish. My son’s school teacher has even told us that she can see the difference. My son was nervous about what it would be like working with a tutor one to one (over zoom) but he very quickly told us that he’s really comfortable with Stuart. I would highly recommend Stuart to anyone wanting additional support with one of the languages he specialises in.

Stuart, was 1st class with my son Nathan helping him move up 2 grades in his Maths GCSE. If it wasn't for the pandemic it would probably have been even more. My son enjoyed the easy manner in which Stuart taught and we would have used him to help with upping my sons grades in English as well but in this strange year as we where discussing this matter everything came to a halt.
We hope to engage Stuarts services again in the future with both son and daughter's further education.

Was a 5 in October mocks and went up to a 7 in January! Great teaching and I learnt a lot of things, and was always helpful and funny. Couldn't have asked for any better!

It has almost been a month for us to try to start the class for Stuart.

First class my boy got bumped his head in the school so the class was cancelled.
Second and the third week was call off by the tutor saying he wasn’t feeling well.
When I tried to contact the tutor to ask for the schdule if we can have class again just didn’t hear from him.
Feeling a bit disappointed…

Respectful tutor

Stuart helped my son to improve his English and enabled him to achieve a good mark in his exam. Overall I recommend him.

Stuart was a great help for my son Jarvis in his Spanish IGCSE.
Jarvis had achieved less than 50% in his end of Year 10 internal Spanish exam.
Stuart came along for 1.5 hours per week during Year 11, resulting in Jarvis attaining grade A in his actual IGCSE.

Stuart has turned my son's ability in English from a very low standard to good one. He's extremely professional and has way of delivering the lessons. I recently received a report from school that my son had moved up on his English grade and this just happened within 2 months of Stuart teaching him. He is able quickly identify where the child's problem is and quickly makes a plan to help. I will highly recommend him to everyone.

We are very pleased with Stuart. He is very punctual and professional. He has given my 14 year old son confidence and his grades in English, RE and History have already improved. Recently we have also employed Stuart to tutor our 13 year old daughter who was reluctant. However, after meeting Stuart she has agreed to have tuition with him because he has taken time in finding out her interests so that he can tailor the tuition to those topics to help her engage in the subject.
We believe Stuart has had a transformational effect on our son's academic ability and hopefully this will be reflected in his GCSE results next year. Highly recommended.

I was a bit anxious instructing Stuart as I have previously had a bad experience with an unprofessional tutor. However he is absolutely brilliant. My son is only 5 and being assessed for special needs. He was engaging and professional. My son loved the sessions and said he was looking forward to seeing Stuart again. He has really helped him.

Cannot recommend Stuart enough. He is great with my daughter.
He recognised her strengths and weaknesses from the start and set up a work plan that encouraged my daughter to accomplish goals and have the confidence in numbers she was lacking.

I was very impressed by Stuart's tuition. As an adult with two degrees I suspect I am not a standard tutee. Stuart's fine academic pedigree, however, meant that he was not fazed (it is worth noting here that I have been turned down by other tutors who didn’t seem to fancy the challenge) and I greatly enjoyed learning from him. While rattling through the basics of English grammar at a fair lick (as I requested), he was nonetheless thorough, patient and helpful. I would recommend Stuart without reservation.
