Energetic and innovative teaching professional with the ability to bring lessons to life I can develop well balanced lesson plans which teach the fundamentals, enhance the students’ academic skills and prepare them for all different stages of National curriculum assessments.
I put my maximum efforts into helping students grasp all concepts of learning in whichever teaching technique suits them best and in whichever technique they feel the highest comfort level within. I deal exceptionally well with students who have learning difficulties and can create effective teaching techniques which enable them to develop a better understanding of all subject areas.
I have a good understanding of the value of sharing learning objectives and success criteria with students. Progression needs to be planned so that students are able to work and explore at their own pace, there is always something ready for them to move on to which will take them further into learning.
I am a great executant when it comes to teaching and helping students through the academic learning ladder.
My experience of 5 years in the teaching industry has equipped me with various teaching techniques in many subjects and different levels of assessments.
• I can teach Maths , Biology, Chemistry and Physics from Pre school foundation to GCSE level including year 2, 6 and 9 SAT’s.
• I have been teaching English to Pre schoolers to A level students.
• Exceptional preparation given for 11+ exams.
• I can assist students in preparation for AS and A Level Law exams.
My tutoring approach is tailored at each individual student. I work one on one with them in determining their strengths, weaknesses, future opportunities and threats of their basic academic skills. Throughout this process we begin by establishing a strong base of support for the student to work upon which includes connecting the student, parent, tutor and teacher. I have a desire to create confident, independent learners who take pride in their studies. My approach to learning is therefore different to traditional methods of supplementary education.
Every pupil has unique needs; the tuition should work both in a practical sense and also create the best conditions for reaching the pupil’s goals.
For some students, time may be spent working on subjects of which they have full comprehension and so they could actually benefit from being pushed further ahead. In summary, one shoe doesn’t usually fit all. I encourage students to bring in school or college work for which they may be having problems so I can assist them in their areas of weakness and help their areas of strengths grow further.
I begin with topics which the students are most at ease with then progressively start to explore more challenging subject areas but in an innovative manner which increases the eagerness to learn.
I prominence vital skills such as essay construction , logical thought, and the effective use of numbers and graphs.
I have faith in huge worth of tutoring to students and take great gratification in seeing my students accomplish their full potential and broadening their academic horizon.
