I left school early and returned to education in my mid thirties. I have a real love of science and a passion for biology, especially genetics., the subject of my PhD. I really enjoy teaching, especially at A Level.
In my spare time I love to travel and have visited several countries in recent years, the most exciting being Egypt, it was a childhood dream to see the pyramids and Valley of the Kings.
I am a well qualified and experienced teacher of biology.
I have been teaching for 13 years and during that time I have taught all ages of student. I love to teach A Level Biology.
I have worked in several schools and have taught A Level biology for several years. I have been tutoring online consistently for just over one year but have done tutoring before a few years ago.
I now have limited availability for September. I only tutor a small number of students so I can give students the best experience possible.
Teaching sessions are student led. Students' identify areas where they need extra help and individual sessions are written. These can be taught sessions or focus on exam questions. Students often understand the subject matter but need help with answering exam questions, so this is often a focus of sessions.
