I graduated from the University of Manchester with a Bachelors Degree in History of Art in 2021 and have since been working as a Teaching Assistant at a Primary School in Manchester alongside doing one-to-one tutoring at the school. I am a friendly and approachable person who thoroughly enjoys teaching and meeting new people!

Tutoring Experience

I spent the previous year working as a teaching assistant to a reception class at a Primary School in South Manchester. Alongside this I completed my National Tutor Training to become a certified tutor and tutored a year 2 student in Maths and English as well as a year 5 student in Maths and English.

Tutoring Approach

I believe to engage pupils in my lessons my teaching approach must be enthusiastic and captivating and I therefore try to make my lessons as interactive and enjoyable for my students. I like to begin by doing a breakdown of the subjects topics to understand which areas need the most attention before allocating specific topics to lessons. I hope to move through the topics each week, however will always designate certain topics more time if needed.
