I am a tutor who has always been keen and enthusiastic about mathematics from as young age, I have never enjoyed teaching large groups and prefer working one to one as I have realised this through experience. I taught my partner and she excelled in her studies and I have also taught friends and family and most recently had an A level student who attained an A in 2024. I am confident of my teaching skills, through patience, tactical awareness, understanding the fear people have about mathematics and offering simple explanations in a relaxed environment through motivation and confidence building

Tutoring Experience

I studied mathematics at undergraduate level and have been teaching in various capacities to different students. I have used mathematics in the workplace where I have solved problems using mathematical software and investment tools. I also completed a Masters degree in Financial Management, I have been working in the financial services since graduation and believe I am well capable of assisting students with their mathematical problems

Tutoring Approach

I work via zoom only, I believe every student is different and therefore there is no one size fits all. Level and speed of understanding is different and I would initially work with parents to identify the best approach to use for the student. Then each solution can be tailored in the best way possible after having that initial conversation, identify the topics of interest, problem and issues then devising a strategy in which to work towards achieving the goals.
