I am a 5th year medical student at Oxford University and would love to be able to offer you tuition in my favourite subject, Maths!
A couple questions for you:
1) What year is the student currently in?
2) Are there any areas in particular that they would like to focus on?
3) Is there anything else they'd like to get out of this tuition that I can help with?
I am available immediately and very flexible so do let me know what timings would suit you!
1) I have 1 years of experience as a weekly teaching assistant in Maths and ICT. 2) I was a mentor for the Target Oxbridge Programme where I led medicine-subject sessions which culminated in presentations by the students, several of whom went on to receive Oxbridge Medicine offers
3) I have mentored several students on Medicine University applications including help with admission tests (BMAT and UKCAT), personal statements and practice interviews and have always had students come back to me with offers!
I am offering tuition in Maths as I always had a passion for maths throughout school, and feel that my thorough understanding of the subject means I'm able to break things down really simply. Part of my passion for maths came from the fact that my maths teacher at school was very inspiring to me and was able to really unlock my potential, such that I eventually achieved 99% in my GCSE. I am passionate that every student should have the same opportunity to receive bespoke teaching which allows you to reach your full potential. I believe that from her I learnt how to teach in a way that is tailored to the students way of thinking which is the key to understanding in mathematics!
