I work as a clinical scientist in the NHS. I have an MSc in Medical Physics and an undergraduate degree in Medical Engineering. Throughout my academic career, maths has always been my favourite subject. I am patient and will work hard to ensure my student leaves each session with an understanding of the material.
My teaching experience comes from assisting the lower year students with their assignments while in was in sixth form. In addition, I have two younger siblings whom I also helped. During my Bachelor's degree, I often taught my classmates the mathematical modules we took especially during the examination period.
My teaching style is finding out what the student understands and working my way from there. I ensure they attempt all problems and try to work through it before assisting. This way they are encouraged to think through the problem without being told how to solve it. This instils an understanding of the material rather than memorising the method required.
