I'm a mum, a teacher and a lover of teaching students about how we are influenced by both nature and nurture.

Tutoring Experience

Over 12 years experience teaching and leading in inner city London schools where children come in with average sats results but excel with hardwork and focussed exam practice.

-Head of Psychology and Sociology for 9 years
-Introduced GCSE, A level and IB Psychology to the school over the course of 3 years
-A level sociology results were consistently in the top 10% of schools nationally (with 100% A/A* in one year- 4 Students)
-A level psychology results were also very strong, averaging 60% A*-B over 10 years)
-I was nominated as borough lead for raising improvements across sixth forms within the borough
- I've examined for A level psychology
- previous students have gone on to study at Russel Group universities and I have a few that are currently studying Doctorates in Psychology.

Tutoring Approach

My students will always get a tailored approach because everyone learns differently. Learning will be fun but with clear goals and expectations. Post tutoring learning will be set for students to continue with their work - we will recap this work at the beginning of the next lesson to ensure an embedded approach.
