I am an experienced primary school teacher, current primary school senior leader, who has been a class teacher in the following year groups: year 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Building knowledge, skills and confidence within children is a passion of mine and preparing them for their next stage of learning is an important responsibility. By utilizing my teaching experience and knowledge of the most effective, and researched pedagogical methods, I secure progress and measurable outcomes in my students and clients. Tutoring Experience

Having graduated with the PGCE in 2013, I have, since then, worked successfully in outstanding schools in both London and Berkshire. As a result, I possess a range of strategies to accommodate the needs on an individual basis.

Tutoring Approach

The learning journey is predicated on an initial assessment coupled with ongoing informal assessment. I am an enthusiastic, friendly and supportive teacher who recognises that every student is different in their needs and abilities and as such tailors my teaching techniques accordingly. A typical session will consist of modelling (w/ the required resources pictorial or physical), practise, feedback followed by further practise and applying the skill to broaden the depth of their understanding.
